Entrepreneurs Circle (EC), a business mentoring group led by Nigel Botterill and Cameron Botterill, approached BoomSpace with a unique challenge: to transform their new headquarters into an immersive, AV‑rich training and meeting environment that inspires, educates and engages.
Their previous office setup, limited to a TV with Apple TV and a basic MP3 recorder, was holding them back. The new space wasn’t a conventional office; it was purpose‑built around EC’s high‑energy, face‑to‑face training programmes and member events, where technology needed to be effortless, reliable and confidence‑inspiring.
EC’s existing setup couldn’t match the scale or standard of what they wanted to deliver. With a multi‑million‑pound investment in the new HQ, EC needed smart, intuitive AV systems capable of supporting dynamic live events, immersive training sessions, collaborative meetings and branded content delivery, all without constant IT intervention.
The BoomSpace AV Solution
We approached the brief with creativity and precision, designing intelligent systems tailored to each unique space and delivering them through our AV integration process so every room felt fit‑for‑purpose, intuitive to use and consistent in performance.
Flagship Training Room (High‑Impact Delivery)
In the main training room, used multiple times each week, we installed a 136″ LED video wall, ceiling speakers, wireless microphones and stage lighting, all controlled via a custom panel with preset modes. This allows presenters to run sessions confidently and consistently, with lighting, content and ambience changing at the touch of a button.
We also added a confidence monitor so presenters can view slides without breaking eye contact with the audience, alongside discreet control systems that give staff autonomy over digital signage, stage lighting and background audio, with no reliance on IT support during sessions.
Meeting Rooms, Collaboration & Room Experiences
Beyond the flagship space, we delivered fit‑for‑purpose AV solutions across a range of meeting and collaboration environments, ensuring a consistent, easy‑to‑use experience across different room types.
Smaller training rooms feature collaboration screens and surface‑mounted speakers, while the Clinic Room has been transformed into a fully equipped webinar and podcast studio. The premium Mastermind Room includes a 98″ interactive display, a Shure MXA920 beamforming microphone and seamless wireless presentation, supporting high‑level discussion and decision‑making.
Digital Signage & Immersive Brand Moments
AV was integrated throughout the building to reinforce EC’s brand experience, from custom signage to controlled audio moments and immersive environmental features designed to make the HQ memorable and engaging for members.
In the breakout area, digital signage is paired with a directional “sound shower” speaker that plays EC’s motto in the form of an 80s‑style Bananarama track, adding a playful yet immersive brand moment to the environment. The much‑talked‑about “disco toilets”, complete with reactive lighting and music, further demonstrate how playful, brand‑aligned AV can elevate the visitor experience and leave a lasting impression.
Delivery Management & Coordination
Where the main contractor lacked a clear programme, BoomSpace stepped in to coordinate critical AV milestones, produce detailed documentation and collaborate across trades to keep delivery on track. We also resolved Zoom account conflicts and simplified remote IT access to ensure a smooth transition into live use.
