A steady pace into the New Year..
After the Christmas and New Year celebrations are over, work begins to slowly calm down.
January is a renowned month for its ‘dry spell’ amongst most businesses. We’ve been fortunate enough, that our first month into 2020 proved to be pretty consistent. We’ve had an eventful few weeks.

Our MOBILE COCKTAIL MAKING CLASSES are proving to still be as popular as ever!
We headed over to Cheriton, to hold a COCKTAIL MAKING MASTERCLASS for a group of couples and friends.
The masterclass begun with the the group, being split into two teams. On this occasion the groups were divided into Males Vs Females!
In the first round each member made a classic mojito supervised all the way by our mixologist.
They added mint, squeezed fresh lime juice, added sugar before adding rum and ice. The entire group then tried their first bar trick of the evening! Demonstrated like a pro by our bartender.
The trick involved each of the guests trying to spin a bar spoon on their fingers.
After watching the attempts, they then had to put the bar spoon on their forearm and try to balance it there for more than 5 seconds without touching it.
I was immensely surprised by how well everyone did in this competition!
Although, everyone put great effort into the round- it was the Male team that won!
In round two, they all had the chance to make the popular & classic cocktail, that is The Porn Star Martini!
This delicious and very sought after tipple is made up of
Vanila Vodka,
Passion puree
Passion fruit juice
Lemon juice
Passo liquor
And a dash prosecco
Before getting stuck into making this drink, the group were shown how to do another bar trick called The Ice Challenge. Performed by the Mixologist, the group watched intently before trying it themselves.
Each of them had to take an ice cube in their hand and a shaker. Depending if they were left handed or right handed the trick had to be done in the following order.
Right handed people
Keep the ice cube in your right hand and using the left hand to keep hold of the shaker.
Do a circle and throw the ice cube behind the back, the aim is to catch the ice cube into the shaker!
Each member had three attempts. A very fun and interactive trick, which always sends ice cubes flying… literally!
