Cinematic & Authentic Scottish Wedding Photography

⭐ Award-Winning | 700+ Weddings | 200 Five-Star Reviews ⭐

Jonathon and Claire Fowler are a husband-and-wife duo and award-winning Scottish wedding photographers.

Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, especially when trying to nail down a photography style. Are you torn between wanting breathtaking, magazine-worthy "wow-factor" portraits, while also craving the raw, candid emotion of unscripted documentary storytelling?

We believe you shouldn’t have to compromise. We embrace the magic of Scottish landscapes and architecture, blending it seamlessly with the genuine emotion of your day. We offer couples the absolute perfect mix: stylish editorial elegance alongside natural, documentary photography.

Zero awkward posing. No stiff smiles. Just brilliant, authentic memories mixed with effortless elegance.

Vibrant, Modern & Timeless Memories
We believe your wedding photos should look as vibrant and full of life as the day itself. Based in Edinburgh and covering celebrations throughout Scotland, we specialise in bold, punchy, and colourful digital photography that captures the absolute best version of your celebration.

We don’t rely on moody filters that go out of fashion, nor do we lean on unpredictable trends. Instead, we use cutting-edge digital mastery to deliver razor-sharp, true-to-life colours that will look just as incredible in fifty years as they do today.

Are you looking for a natural, relaxed photographer for your wedding day?

Do you want beautiful wedding photos that you can frame and hang on your wall? Of course, you do. Do you want photographs that tell the story of your wedding day? The reactions? The amazing expressions and those special moments that will surprise you when you look through your gallery and talk about your wedding day again and again?

My name is River, and I am a natural and relaxed wedding storyteller.

I am a Yorkshire-and UK-based wedding photographer and filmmaker. Predominately covering Yorkshire, Derbyshire, and Nottinghamshire, we also venture to any other parts of the UK. By your side, we are there to capture all of the moments and tell an authentic story of your amazing wedding day.

I will join your wedding as a listener and observer and creatively document your day as it happens. My aim is to give you memories of genuine, unique moments and emotions with your favourite people.

I also photograph creatively and look for authentic  moments at your wedding
