About: Throughout the year, they offer a range of classes tailored to match your proficiency level, allowing you to either take a one-off class or steadily progress through the stages. If your desired class isn't available now, check back at a later date.Spanish for HolidaysThese classes are for travellers planning to visit Spain or Spanish speaking countries, with little or no prior knowledge of the language. This course covers essential topics including ordering food and drinks, booking accommodation, and visiting tourist offices. Through interactive lessons and practical exercises, students will learn key phrases and vocabulary to have basic conversation in Spanish. Stage 1These classes are for complete beginners. They cover topics such as introducing oneself, (name, nationality, numbers, profession) as well as topics, which tourists would encounter when travelling in a country where the language is spoken. It is assumed that participants have no experience in the language.Stage 2Being comfortable with basic greetings and introductions, students embarking on their stage 2 course will be able to increase their confidence in dealing with more holiday situations as well as gaining a greater cultural understanding. The lessons will comprise a range of activities including reading, listening and speaking activities.Stage 2/3This course offers a natural progression for students who have completed either stage 1 or stage 2 and will focus on adding more vocabulary and structure to their existing knowledge. Students will also gain in confidence in using the language when on holidays in a Spanish speaking country.Stage 3/4This course is a natural progression for students who have completed the previous stages. It will carry on exploring holiday situations, adding more content to the conversations that could be encountered when travelling to a Spanish-speaking country. During the course you will find that your vocabulary, grammar and confidence will increase.
