About: Corpus Christi College is located in the heart of Cambridge, on the corner of Kings Parade and where you will also find the Corpus Clock, the Chronophage. Corpus is one of the oldest and one of the smallest colleges in the city. Known for its excellence in food and warm hospitality, Corpus offers guests and visitors the opportunity to enjoy Old Court, the oldest enclosed court in Cambridge dating back to the 14th century and the magnificent 19th-century Dining Hall. The college has a motto; Old foundations. New ideas. This ethos runs through the conference and catering departments and is shown in the food and service offered, traditional surroundings with a modern and fresh approach to food and service. Corpus can host events for up to 150, from an intimate dinner for 30 in the wood-panelled Parker Room, a wedding in Hall for 100 guests, a birthday party in the college Bar or a talk for 150 in the McCrum Lecture Theatre. Food is very important at Corpus; their philosophy is simple: source the best ingredients at their seasonal finest then create dishes to delight and exceed expectations. Each quarter new menus are produced by the Executive Head Chef, Sebastian offering fresh and imaginative options for fine dining, buffets and lunches.
